Learn to draw single portrait figures in Persian miniature style. The course is drawing intensive and will result in beautiful monochrome figures lined with an ink and a brush on naturally dyed paper.
Week 1: Learn to figures in proportion
Week 2: Learn to use line and form to create the intricate detail of Persian miniature. Focus: draw details such as turbans, lamps and belts
Week 3:
Dye paper using natural dyes, and prepare it for painting
Start composing final piece
Week 4: Practice lining and shading techniques
Week 5: Line final composition using ink
Outcome: A solid foundation in figurative drawing, a finished painting, and the skills to make many more!
